Colin from B&F Decorating arrived when he said he would ,to measure up and give an estimate for the shop front ( Almor Carpets). His advise on co-ordinance of colours was much appreciated and helped with the final choice, Within a 24 hours i recieved a detailed quote which was under budget so i was more than happy to give him the go ahead, Work was carried out on time to a high standard by Colin & Davie and i have had lots of positive comments about the new look shop front, I would highly recommend B&F Decorating!

Colin and his team did a great job for us. We were really up against it for time, and were struggling to find a painter to do a fair bit of work at very short notice, but Colin organised things so that we had our kitchen, living room, dining room, windows, doors and ceilings painted in less time than in took a couple of other decorators to send us a quote. We also found them to be very competitively priced and they saved us forking out a few hundred quid for unnecessary plaster boarding of our living room ceiling. His team were friendly, helpful and efficient and I’ve no hesitation in recommending them.

Colin, who was recommended to us, came round and quickly gave us a very reasonable quote to paint the whole of my mums new flat including some external work. He started when he said and finished when he said. All work was carried out with a minimum of fuss and disruption and would have no problem recommending B&F to anyone.

We have used B & F Decorators in our home on two occasion to carry out different types of work. The first time was to decorticate two bed rooms, they had to remove the old plaster board of the external wall and then put up insulation plaster board follow by Ames taping and fully redecorate both rooms. The second time was when we installed a new kitchen Colin organised the complete installation from start to finish and we where more then happy with the service and job quality form start to finish. Colin and the team were brought in to decorate my Kitchen, Bedroom and Livingroom. They took me through the who process, helped me pick colours and paper and got the work done in a great timescale at a very reasonable price.
Im going to use them again for another project later in the year.
They are the only option in Dunfermline.

Colin and Kevin recently installed coven in our kitchen, staircase and 2 hallways. They also coated these areas with fresh emulsion. We were absolutely delighted with the finished result. Very professional and their attention to detail was most impressive. They tidied up after each day whuch was a real bonus.They were reliable and very punctual. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.

We recently employed B & F Decorators, Dunfermline (Colin and Kevin, although Kevin carried out most of the actual work), for re-decoration of walls, ceilings, doors/ frames, windows and skirtings to several rooms in our house; my wife and I are very pleased with the standard of work provided, both in terms of the initial preparation (caulking, filling, sanding etc.), and the actual re-decoration itself - particularly the re-staining of the wood doors and trims, skirtings etc; finished result - house is re-vitalised internally. Would therefore have no hesitation in recommending B & F to others. 2 suggestions for customers when getting re-decoration quotes (not criticIsms of B & F): a) ask for the quote to clearly stipulate everything that's included/ not included, i.e. to prevent any confusion/ misunderstanding further down the line, and b) agree a clear timescale for the work which will definitely be met, unless extras are involved.

Had them in to strip and paper my hallway/staircase. Its an old victorian house and not a lot of decorators would do it. So pleased i got them and would highly recommend them. Mrs Stevens
